Robbie Barwick The National Research Director from the Australian Citizens Party and I examine the bad behaviour exhibited by Bendigo Bank as it seeks to ape the other “big” players (alligators?) in Australia and close branches where they can, despite having profitable business in regional towns and in some places remain the only branch in town. The result will be more economic decline in towns essential to a prosperous future. Politicians are choosing to ignore the problem, despite the recent recommendation to consider a Government backed bank. We need to push our elected representatives to change their tune!
