Today we got the ABS National, state and territory population data from June 2025. They reported that the Australia’s population grew by 1.5 per cent in the 12 months to June 2025, or 27.6 million people, 420,100 more than in June 2024. Natural increase, the number of births minus those who died, added 114,600 people from June 2024 to June 2025.
