There a couple of terms which can create fear and panic among those looking to buy and sell property. In a hot market, Gazumping is an underhand technique whereby a seller accepts a higher offer from another buyer before contracts are signed and exchanged. The reverse, in a falling or buyers market is Gazundering which is when a buyer lowers their agreed offer just before contracts are exchanged.
